Maple teriyaki marinade (For chicken or pork)

Ingredients

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) dijon mustard
  • 2 fresh cloves of garlic (1 tsp) crushed
  • 250 ml (1 cup) soy sauce
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) chopped fresh ginger
  • 150 ml (10 tbsp) red wine or port

Preparation

  1. Whisk together all ingredients
  2. Let chicken or pork marinate for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator
  3. Grill or pan fry
